hey guys! it's liz here! haha i really enjoyed today's east coast park outing! for those who weren't able to make it, here's some photos for you guys to see.

we went rollerblading, had a drink at the cable-ski place, then headed back to return our blades, and then had worship at the breakwaters.

HELLO EVERYONE! I'm gonna confess that i suck...took so long to blog this!

I shall make it a habit to email everyone after i've blogged so as to remind u this blog isn't dead. It seriously isn't okayyy! Probably just hibernating for awhile.

Firstly, how is everyone? Did u guys see me looking uber cool on sunday? Haha yes it was BB sunday waddd...had to take on my BB Officer Responisbilities...and no i'm not power hungry or anything really... BB is an area i see myself serving God in so many ways. To change boys lives, to mould them and walk with them in their secondary school life journey and to bring them to Christ.

Wait i'm seriously digressing.

YES YES so the other ministry i serve, which i slightly more relaxing is LIFEGROUP. I would like to say it's great to have all of you in Mitochondria. I really was very excited when i first got hold of the name list and was like ehhh...who is Jo-ann, who is Amanda. HAHA!

And here we have everyone!

I'm really happy with you guys. Thinking of everyone simply just motivates me to pray for you individually and to prepare the following week's lessons faithfully! Which reminds me, this coming week, we're doing THE LORD'S PRAYER. (:

Taking advantage of this school holidays to blog all the previous entries i missed out. Like our class outing at the flea market and the day we had lessons at macs.

The Salt and Light of the World

The 6 first lessons i had some how shaped them to the 6 very important questions. So Mitochondria spawned their first lessons discussing WHO ARE YOU. Besides finding out who we were:

-Bok chong is a retard

-Jon Heng should start first

-Hazel is usually puzzled

-Jo Ann is lame

-i am ivan

-melanie is a daughter of God and a copycat

-Joy is insane

-Jek khai is a son of God

-Justin is emokid

-Amanda is absent

-Sebaa and Nat are in Robin's class

...we found out that we actually have roles to play. And that was to be Salt and Light of the world. -Matthew 5:13

Using the game we started with as an analogy, which was "Guess the Chips" for those of you who din come, we were familiar with the tastes of some chips! Like Roller Coaster and JIGS BBQ. But like the BONUS chips...both teams had difficulty in guessing which chips it was! To everyone's dismay, it was JIGS teriyaki chicken. Close one Joy.

So like chips, we Christians are identified by our flavour. When people actually interact with us, they will be able to TASTE the goodness of Jesus! Afterall, that's just the purpose why salt exists, else it has no other purposes... Remember that!

And by this point of the lesson...the plates of chips were diminishing and everyone was getting restless. Haha did u remember how to be the light of the world? You are the light of the world! By guiding others to Jesus! Being the light of the world is a heavy responsibilty...even fellow christians may get lost, but u who have seen the light as a small pinhole should lead others towards that direction! Or rather, the bible expects u to draw others towards you, for you have knowledge of the truth!

With that, i have reminded all of you who you actually are. Life is more than studying and making friends. With that, i hope u all would have something to share on the tagboard. Maybe some encouragement or sharing. Please go ahead. This is our site!

dearest all, welcome to the blog i promised!
Okay this blog is still underconstruction...
Do u all remember me smsing u if u would be free on the 12th January Saturday? Well i wanted to organise a class outing...since we barely know each other. And we haven't even seen the boys...However, all of you have busy lives! I totally i understand.
Still, this is what is going to happen to on 13 January 2008.
Firstly we would have a mitochondria highlight activity. Sounds really cool rite.
Then we would be having sharing on You are the salt and light of the world.
E.X.C.I.T.i.N.G! Do pray for our cell.
